Alien, Superheros, and Savannah

Summer is coming up! You know one of  the good things that happen during summer? Movies! So far, I've watched three movies and this is my review about it.

1. The Battleship

I saw this movie two weeks ago. Battleship tells about alien ships battle with Marines and Naval take place at sea. For the high budget movie made by Hollywood, I did not really enjoyed how actor and actress here play they role. Big names such as Liam Neeson doesn't make differences here. Rihanna? I think she look nice, simple but tough girl. One of the major part of this sci-fi movie of course how they served the effects look real in our eyes. Overall, this movie worth to watch for those who seek for easy-to-digest movie with nice visual effect.

Rating: 4 starts out of 5

2. The Avengers

It's the first big movie of the summer blockbuster season and there was a lot of hype leading up to its release. I'd like to say that all of the Avengers are great in their role. Robert Dawney Jr. as Iron Man, we all agree that he is definitely born to play Iron Man. I love how he interacts with the team and love his humorous dialogue that he spits out every once in a while. Even Jeremy Renner -a new comer- as Clint Barton is perfect to play Hawkeye. Even though the film clocks in at about 2 hours and 30 minutes, it felt like half that runtime because it moves so quickly and you won't be checking your watch during it. After watch this movie, I got an eyegasm. Seriously, with those oh-handsome-superheros like that, who's not gonna see this movie?

Rating: 4,5 stars out of 5

3. African Cats

Different from two superheros movies above, African cats will take you to other land. Have you ever seen The Lion King? Well, Disneynature brings The Lion King to life on the big screen in this true life adventure. An epic true story tells about Sita, a fearless cheetah and single mother raising five newborns on her own. A young female, Mara (Hey, we got the same name!), with an ageing mom. The film follows the two cats on their adventures in one of the wildest places on Earth, African Savannah. The cinematography is stunning, the views of Masai Mara breathtaking. A pretty good narration by Samuel L. Jackson. There is killing, tragedy, heartbreaking, but because it's Disney, there's a  happy ending, of course. Overall, I just want to say: You. All. Have. To. Watch. This. Film.

Rating: Six stars out of five! (no kidding)
